OK I'm 38 1/2 wks pregnant and I SWEAR I'm going to freak out if I can't get this back pain to stop.
The normal stuff I can deal with. But I have this pinch in my lower back that will NOT go away.
I don't know if it's my sciatic nerve or what that is pinched.
It's ONLY on my right side right around my butt crack.

I know I could see a Chiro, but I have not been able to find one around my area that I like.
Anyone have any ideas for a quick fix? if there is one?
I can barely walk this A.m...

:( OUCH

What can I do next?

Call the doc, but the baby might be pressing on the nerve.. try getting in a swimming pool and move around, you might be able to relieve the pressure and move the baby safely.

Have you thought about acupuncture? It helps relieve nerve inflammation. My husband threw out his back one time so badly that he literally couldn't walk. I called his MD (who is also certified in acupuncture), brought him into the office (they had to bring out a wheel chair to get him into the office), and the doctor did an acupuncture treatment on him. No joke an hour later my DH walked out of the office and said he felt fine! The following afternoon, he went to rugby tackling practice. True story!

I have always been a huge fan of western medicine myself, but after witnessing that, I have to say that if you have nerve pain, acupuncture really does work.

try getting a massage.. i just saw it on tv... they say if the massage place you choose should do prenatal massage.. check .. if they do.. they get you to go on all fours.. kind of like a dog... then they put a wrap around your belly and massage your back too... and this elevates the pain.. good luck.. start calling massage places... it could really help

My Obgyn told me I could see and Chiropractor during my pregnancy, but absolutely no adjustments to my lower back.
