Hi Ladies,
Does anyone know of a site similar to Mamasource but for dads? I think it would be great for my husband to be able to ask questions and get feedback from other dads.
Thanks so much :)
S.

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and references for my husband and dad's out there who would enjoy an online dad site. I wrote to "contact us" on Mamasource so we shall see what happens. I will keep you informed :)
Best,
S.

I don't know of any but I second another poster's idea to let Mamasource know that there is interest. We had a Dad post on here awhile back a few times - I'm sure he still lurks around (-: I think it is great when Dad - stay at home or not, posts here - we could all benefit from having both sexes giving advice from time to time.

Up in the left hand corner of your screen there is a "contact us" link. This is a brilliant idea of yours to have a website for dads. Maybe the ones running this site know how to open one up for the guys too. Who knows?

Other than that, the closest thing I can think of is www.valuesparenting.com. It is not strictly for dads, but for all parents.

I am part of an online group called MOMYS (moms of many young siblings) To be an 'active member' you need to have 4 or more kinds in an 8 year time span though we do have several who participate on a limited account that have less than 4 kids. It is a place for meeting new people, asking questions and for support and prayer, we even have an awesome recipe section! Ü Some of the dh (dear husbands) wanted a place for them so they have added www.daddyswisdom.com which runs on the same principle as momys but with a much smaller group.

I don;t know, but that sounds like a good idea. Does anyone know how this one got started? one of my daycare parents from years ago signed me up, my kids are grown but i have had a lot of experiences through rasing 3 kids plus doing daycare for 11 years, lets try and find out how to get one started for the dads out there. There have een a few men that have joined Mamasource. Unless you need this to be a safe place for you to vent about him, you might let him sign-up here.
