So I am not one to normally cheap out on Halloween, however, this year we are going on vacation 2 weeks before Halloween and I just don't want to spend a fortune. Does anyone know where to get cheap costumes online? She wants to be either the girl from Harry Potter or a My Little Pony. And I can't sew worth a damn - so homemade is out for me.

Ebay, Marshalls and TJ Maxx I just purchased them yesterday I got a pirate for my daughter at Marshalls it was $14.00 and for my younger one a clown costume at party city it was $19.00 but I had a coupon so I paid $12.
Hermione is just a private school uniform and wavy blondish brown hair and a wand. Can you go to a thrift store and find a pleated skirt and school uniform jacket with a crest on it? or pin a crest on it that you print off the computer? you can buy a wand anywhere. I went to the big thrift store in town and found both my kids costumes for $3.98. It can be done. And you dont have to pay shipping and handling.
