I am needing to clear out my son's outgrown toys and clothes. 99% of this stuff is still in great shape. Has anyone used either or bith of these consignment stores and if so, which one is best?

Thanks!

once upon a child is good because they give you cash.

Honestly I have made the most with garage sales.

I would also try and sell on Craigslist first. I have tried a few times selling stuff at OUAC and all the experiences I had were not very good. The one in my area only takes the first 25 people with items so you can never go in the afternoon because by 11am they have had 25 people drop their items off. The other part that is annoying that if you get there when they open you are expected to drop items off and come back several hours later to see if they have selected any of your stuff. One time I took a huge diaper box of clothes (items were in great shape some were never worn) they bought 3 things out of the box. It wasn't worth the gas to drive there and back,

I have sold serveral items on Craigslist. I always meet people in the grocery store parking lot right down the street. That same box of clothes that OUAC wouldnt take I sold to someone off of Craigslist for $30. Have never been to OUAC since then.

Good Luck

Honestly I would try Craigslist first. We have a Once Upon a Child in my area and after taking my things there I felt very ripped off. Sure I had no use for the items, but I felt like they offered close to nothing for things in very good condition or new in the box/with tags. I have heard from other mom's who have done garage sales and all seem to agree that you get the most value for your item on craigslist. The people that are looking there want to buy your item and you get all the profit with out splitting it with a store front. Good Luck
