Moscato.....it has to be, very sweet and white and its all the rage right now.
Had dinner with the family at Olive Garden last weekend. The waitress offered some complimentary wine. I am not a wine drinker so I thought why not. She gave me some white wine with a sweet grape taste. I truly enjoyed the taste, and got a glass.
I just don't remember the name. Any of you think you might know??
I think it started with a" M".
UPDATE: it was white

It's moscato and if you like it you can buy it at some liquor stores. my son went and asked to see the bottle lol. It is the only wine I like. probably because it tastes very much like the country quencher boonesfarm wine I loved in the late 70's lol
There are two Merlots on their wine list:
Merlot Ecco Domani, Italy (Winery)
Merlot Clos du Bois (Winery)
And a Moscato:
Moscato Castello del Poggio, Italy (Winery)
If it was white or pink, it was the Moscato, if it was red, a Merlot.
Moscato
Yummy! Red version is their Roscato.
from what i just looked up, I would say the most likely suspects would be either a white marsala or a muscat. although i can't tell you anything about the taste of either of these. typically, i think of marsalas as being dry, but that may be the red variety.
I was there last week (but in WA) and our waitress offered me a taste of Pinot Grigio (it is a white wine with a sweet taste).
If it was sparkling then it was probably the Moscato d'Asti.
I love a good moscato!!
