My 4th baby is due in August. I'm new to South Bay hospital scene and had all 3 of my kids delivered at St. Josephs in OC with 1 Doctor that I LOVED even commuting for the the last 2. I can't commute for this one and need to find an awesome OB/GYN in Torrance and also wondering which hospital would be better to deliver at Little Company of Mary or Torrance Memorial?? All of our friends live in OC so I don't have very many friends to ask around here. I don't mind if it's a man or woman, my last Dr. Was male but I also loved his Nurse Practitioner so I just want the best! Thank you so much!
I really liked little company of Mary.. I had bot my kids there 6 years ago and 3 years ago. I lived in Long Beach 2 blocks away from Long Beach Memorial and still drove to Torrance.
My OB was Dr Scharffenberger and I loved loved loved him. I have heard that the other Dr's in his office are also good.

I delivered at Torrance Memorial and had an awesome experience. Many of my friends have had babies in the last few years at both hospitals and the general consensus is that people's experience at Torrance is better (and some of my friends have had not the greatest experience at Little Company - I would NEVER go to their ER). My OB preferred Torrance Memorial for a number of reasons but most notably that it has a 24 hour anesthesiologist on staff. Little Company doesn't so if you're an epideral girl you may have to wait longer at Little Company. Sorry I don't have an OB to recommend. Good Luck!
I delivered my both kids at little company of mary. They had awesome services. So, no worry at all.
My OB is Dr. John Lim. He is great doctor as well.
