Ob-gyn at Tampa General

Ther is a midwife group that delivers at Tampa General, they are the best. I have been a doula for ten years in the area and I have worked with them numerous times. The name is Women's Health Care. They are located on Davis Island right next to the hospital. Mary O'Meara is the head of the practice. Best Wishes

I delived 10 days ago at St Joe's Women's hospital. My dr was Dr. Dill with Partners in OBGYN, a division of Tampa Bay Women's Care. The Drs are Fallieras, Kilbride, Dill etc. I had a great experience with them and I highly recommend them. I live in Riverview as well and they have an office in N Tampa which is not too far from here.

I reccomend Women's Health Care at TG. It's a midwife group that does a great deal of the births at TG. I've gone there for many years for annual exams as well as the birth of my child. I could not have been happier with my care and they're strong advocates of their patients. If it makes you feel better, they work in conjunction with a couple of OG/GYN. I delivered two children at Brandon and had a very good experience. My second doctor was Dr. Zweibach here in Brandon. He may work out of Tampa General , I'm not sure. He is an excellent physician, smart man.

I have lived in TAMPA for 6 years and gave birth to both my sons at TGH. They are wonderful. I had c-sections for both children and Dr.Spellacy did both my childrens births. He is with the Physicians group on Davis island. They offer both midwives and OBGYN doctors. I alos recommend them because they make appt. and actually get you in at the time of appt. or just a few minutes past.I love them. I also just recently moved here from NY and since you have a boy, I will tell you a few things I learned. I don't know your preference but here in Florida, not all hospitals or doctors or insurances circumcise. I also live in Summerfield and we found Brandon Hospital to be better and our doctor is Dr. Gilmer. His office is right behind the hospital. I am 29 weeks pregnant. It was just crazy to me that it was such an issue here. We have to pay $212 dollars to have it done. Just a little info for you in case you needed it!

I love the staff at women's health care. They are located in the building across from tampa general (they share the same parking) They are midwives with an OB/GYN Dr on staff- I don't know what your prefence is but I loved them throughout my pregnancy and delivery. Their phone is ###-###-####.
They will also circumsize in their office for 150.00. (If that is the right choice for you)
