Bravado worked great for me. They're sized on the smallish side, but very comfortable.
I have been nursing now for 6 months and have yet to find a nursing bra that I really like. Medela's bras seem to have no support in the cup and the Motherhood bras are made of really crappy fabric. Victoria's Secret recently started making them, but last month I noticed that they mysteriously disappeared from their website. Plus they were cut small, so I was not too happy with them. The DD fit like a D. My band size has dropped as I have lost weight, so now the old ones don't fit properly anymore. I figured out that I am now a 34DD (or E for those brands that don't use DD). So I am on a search for new bras in the correct size. It can be underwire or soft-cup but it has to be low-cut and non-lacy. So many of the bras are so high that they peek out from under my shirts, even regular tanks, or they look odd and bunchy from lace. It should be comfortable and not give that "grandma boobs" shape. Does anyone have suggestions for a good one?
I ordered one of the Bravado bras and two bra tank tops, which are really nice. They don't "lift and separate" the way that my old bras did (although the girls are much bigger and less perky than they were before, so I can't expect miracles) but they hold me in and I feel more comfortable with the way I look in clothes. I ended up breaking down and buying a few regular underwire bras in my new size to wear when I am going somewhere without my son (like for instance, out to dinner with friends), but I'm using the bravado bras at home and for outings with my son. Now my only problem is that I have to order a few more bravado bras so I don't have to do laundry so frequently.

My friends and I found Bravado bras and they are the best! www.bravadodesigns.com. I threw out the other nursing bras I bought. They were useless and uncomfortable.
I nursed both kiddies ..... one a year one 18 months and I totally understand how you feel. I live and breath by the Elle McPherson nursing bra. I buy mine from Nordstroms. Some people think they are expensive but when this is such a huge part of your life you need something that looks good and feels good. They are cut a bit higher and they have lace around the edge so it looks like you have on a cami. I have tried Mimi, motherhood, babystyle, JW and this one worked GREAT for me!!!! Good luck!!!!
motherwear.com has a great selection and I think they have free return shipping. I got one from there that fits your description, but i can't remember the brand. Also, the ladies at the Upper Breast Side are really helpful if you're in Manhattan.
Congrats on making it to 6 months!!! I have been nursing my son for almost a year and I swear by the nursing tanks that target sells. I bought them on-line and love them. The only thing I am not sure of is how they are for larger busted women. If you live near NYC there is a store called the Upper Breast Side that may have larger sizes. Hope this helps

After about 5 months of hating the Medela, Motherhood, etc. I found Anita nursing bras on line - they are so awesome! I have only tried the underwire bras and love all the styles - I have lacy and non-lacy and find them to be supportive, comfortable and pretty. Just google Anita nursing bras and there are a bunch of websites that sell them. A little pricey, but well worth it!
