I believe that God can speak to us through numbers, but not to focus on that. For example, about 20 years ago, I was 33, apt. # 3, 153 Higdon Avenue, 3 people in my house, my son was 3 and my license plate had number 330 on it - all at the same time!!! I think God can use numbers to show you you are in His will. When I met my husband he and I both like the number 7, he lived on Nathan Way, (the same name as my son) and we both liked to decorate in black, white and red. - Those were just a few of the MANY coincidences that were when we met - we're both from two different countries (me, Canada, him, Lebanon), so what is the chance of that? However this showed God's grace, it wasn't because I was seeking numbers for answers.
God created the universe with mathematics, and order so it's going to show up in different ways. Physics is mathematics!
Seek God all the time for everything. - personally I don't believe in coincidence. I believe God orchestrates "Coincidences". "Pray without ceasing" is what the bible says. My husband is born on March 27, my daughter March 26 (would have been the 27th if she had been born in Lebanon) and my other daughter June 26.
If you pray every morning, ask for God's guidance every morning, and wait for God's guidance to do anything, - up your prayer life, then God will guide you in all of your actions and that will be a much better life for you than turning to numbers. Numerology itself, - trying to decide what to do through numbers is the same thing as divination (forbidden) or "magic", which we as Christians don't want to be involved with. If you start to follow numerology, for example, you could end up being a plaything of the demons, which is a road you don't want to travel. It's better to pray, believe God will answer you, and through faith he will. Going to church helps too. Check out http://www.antiochian.org/about
Divination is a sin, however, God will speak to us in many different ways, such as me, with numbers. After all, he led the Magi to the babe in the manger with a star. However, they didn't seek the star for guidance, and neither did they pray to it.
