Not Sure If I'm Having a Miscarriage? Need Some Hopeful Stories.

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant and just started spotting. And last night I had red bleeding, but no clots. Now I'm back to brownish spotting. I am also having backache. I'm hoping this is not a miscarriage. This will be my last baby since my husband just had a vasectomy. Has anyone else had these problems and been okay? I'm looking to gain some hope from your stories. Thank you moms.

You could still be pregnant. Just try to stay in bed for a couple days, and drink lots of water. Was it like a period, or just spotting?

The most conclusive answer for you would be to go to the Doctor... or call him/her and they will tell you what to do.

It could be anything... there is no way to tell for sure, unless the Doctor sees you.

I know it's hard and worrisome...but try to relax, don't exert yourself... and go to the Doctor.

Some women have that and it turns out to be implantation bleeding, or spotting from internal exams or some women even have their period throughout their pregnancy.

Put a call in to your Doctor, or since it's a weekend, their number should direct you to your Doctor's pager number or the physician exchange.

All the best, and keep your fingers crossed,
and I will hope the best for you,
Take care,
Susan

I would not worry about it unless it hurts somewhere down your abdomen. I had the same problem with my current second pregnancy at about 8 weeks. It lasted 3 days only though.

Have you had a chance to go to the doctor's yet? That's the best bet. They can do blood test to determine whether you're still pregnant or have a miscarriage. I had spotting during my 3rd pregnancy and I had a miscarriage. I didn't even know I was pregnant but I still grieved for the lose. I have 3 active, healthy sons and sometimes my husband & I can't help but wonder if that miscarriage could have been a girl. Only God knows. Best of luck to you.
