Any reason you didn't/don't test? That will give you a good idea of what's going on! With my DS (my second child) we were trying to conceive, so I knew when to test, and it was positive, but the same day I started bleeding and I also had cramping, etc. My doctor was SURE I was miscarrying, but I wanted bloodwork every 2 days for a week to be sure. Well, I wasn't and they were never able to explain why I had almost a week of fairly heavy bleeding (if I wasn't trying to get prego, I would have just thought I had my period) right when my period was due. My son is a happy, healthy, 9 month old now!

Have you taken a test? I'd take a test and then call your o.b.

Take a test and talk to your OB. It is possible to be pregnant and still bleed like having your period.
I had what I thought was my period in the first weeks of my pregnancy. I did not know I was pregnant. I just realized a couple of weeks later, did the test and it was positive. When I went to the doctor she thought I was only 4 weeks because of my "period" but the sonogram showed 8 weeks. I knew I was pregnant the moment I felt my body changing. A woman knows her body.

It sounds like you have a hormone imbalance. Go to your OB and have them check your levels.

I hate to say it, but you could be having a miscarriage - I would call your doctor and get checked out.
