Try reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility (or Take Charge of Your Fertility). It's an EXCELLENT book that explains how to detect when you ovulate and what your cycle is doing exactly. It can help you pinpoint problems and help you learn when the best time to try for pregnancy is.
When we were trying with baby #2, we tried for six months. I know that doesn't seem like a long time, but with baby #1, there was no trying (we weren't trying to get prego and did right away). So it was very strange that it was taking so long. People had been suggesting to me to drink Red Raspberry Leaf tea and saying that it would help balance my hormones and make me more fertile. For whatever reason I didn't try it for the first five months. By the sixth month, I drank it regularly (a glass three times a day). It definitely did adjust my cycle and hormones and I became pregnant immediately. Same story when we tried with baby #3. I was nursing 100% and I'd had one period that was hardly anything. I knew I wasn't ovulating yet. We wanted to have another baby, so I started drinking red raspberry. That next month, my cycle returned very heavy and obviously ovulating. Then I got pregnant. Do some research online for "red raspberry leaf tea pregnancy" and see what you find. If you are having hormonal problems, it can only help, though it doesn't always produce the same results in everyone...but you'd need to drink it regularly and it's gross. They do have capsules to take in place of the "tea" (it's not technically really tea either!). I hope it's not too long before you are pregnant! I can't imagine how difficult that is!
