I just gave birth to my second boy on september 6th and he isn't crying that much maybe a squawl here and there but he's so quiet. is this normal some people tell me to be blessed but i just can't shake the feeling that something is wrong we do go to the drs tomorrow for his one week checkup. has anyone else gone through this at all he doesn't even cry when he is hungery just makes little sounds and then puts his fingers in his mouth
thanks ladies for making me feel at ease. we did go to the drs today and he said it's normal and everything sounds really good on colton so i'm relieved alot.. he has been putting out squawls here and there tho so it really eases my mind that's for sure
Hi A. i have four children and i had two babies just like your little guy. They were just quiet and calm babies. Today one is 6 and the other 4 and they are normal happy children. But since you have a check up just let the doctor know your fears and he will check him good. Congratulations on your little angel. I am sure everything is ok. Every baby is different but my first son was that way. He hardly ever cried. The doc told me to thank my blessings!
My second girl is just like this. She is 4 months old and doesn't cry much. She hardly cried at all during her first 2 weeks. She also will make sounds, even squeaking, then sucking on her hands or fingers when hungry. She is just a very happy, quiet little girl.
My sister was also like this. My mother used to have to check on her all the time because she rarely cried. Now she is an adult and doing just fine.
Hi! My Daughter who will be 8 months in a few days never cried when she was little and when i went to the peds they just gave me drops for her eyes to help her tear ducks to stay wet.we still never really her cry. once in a blue moon she is a wonderful baby. I am glad you spoke to your peds and feel better.

Hi I have 4 kids and all but my baby boy who is 2 now was very much that way .he did not even cry when he was sick!!if I was you I would talk to you'r dr and see what they say and for the most part you are very blessed.my son well did not cry for any thing we really had to fighter out what to do for him .this kid didn't even cry when he was hungry . so I hope all is well when you go to the dr my son was so quiet till he hit 2 now he is making up for it all LOL .and none of my other kids where this way they where all very loud LOL!!! I hope this helps
