Do you have nightlights in your kids' rooms?

I finally put one in my little one's room & it seems to help.

They don't disturb sleep, do they?

I can't imagine it would because it's so dim.

What can I do next?

I had a night light in my DD's room from the time she was born, until she was about 20 months old. She started fighting sleep so much, that I took it out hoping that if she couldn't see so well that she wouldn't be getting up so often. It worked! :) I leave the door open, so she has a LITTLE bit of light at bedtime, then I shut the door when I leave. So she doesn't have a night light right now, and seems to sleep better for it.

I personally sleep better in pitch-black than with a night light as well...

I think it depends on your kid, what they are used to, and how they react. :)

Yep, I have nightlights in my kids's room. Also, sometimes I'll let my oldest have the flashlight so he can flash the light at whatever scares him. Makes him feel better. It doesn't disturb my kiddos sleep. It actually helps them sleep better.

I can't sleep in a pitch-black room, my little guy who is 3, either. The night light doesn't disturb his sleep, and if he needs to get up to go potty, I want him to be able to see enough to get to his door and the bathroom safely.

I am 57 and I have always had night lights. Now mine are cool string lights wrapped around a wreath and a swag. I can't sleep in a dark room, even if a storm causes the lights to go out I light a candle in a jar so I have some light. I have ambient lighting in every room of my house. I'm not as much afraid of the dark but of what could be hiding in the dark. If a noise wakes me or the dogs I like to be able to see if anyone or anything is there.

Definitely.

DD tends to get afraid if its very dark. I think most little kids tend to get afraid, maybe until they are like 10 or so...
I have a moon and stars night light in her room. I even have a small one on the passage way between her room and ours. Helps her sleep much better.
