The Hyatt DFW always has a good party. I haven't been since 2003, but went for three years before & had a blast every year.
Does anyone know of any hotels that throw a New Year's Eve Party? My husband and I are looking for something fun to do this year. It will be our 10th Wedding Anniversary on December 27 and we feel this is something to really celebrate.
We want to do something out and stay at a really nice hotel either in Dallas, Fort Worth, or even Shreveport.
If anyone knows of any place or can give me a few ideas. I've already called a few hotels/casinos in Shreveport but they don't have anything planned yet (if at all).
Thanks for all your help
S.

See if the Gaylord has something.
Hi S.,
The Wyndham Anatole in Dallas normally has a show, dinner and a room for a reasonable price. We saw Hall & Oates there a few years back.
Check out hotel Za Za. www.hotelzaza.com It is funky and sexy! You should just go over there one day and look at it. It is really a fun hotel. I am not sure what they have going for New Years...but you should probably call right away. They probably book up fast!
The Fairmont downtown usually does something....I'd also check the new "W" hotel---and then you can't go wrong with The Mansion.
I used to work at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas (Irving). It is a five star hotel located on a beautiful golf course. They throw beautiful New Years Eve parties. Yes it is a little pricey, but hey its your 10th anniversary. There are several different packages that you can get. The best thing about it is that it is right down the road, but you honestly feel like you are on vacation because of the beautiful surroundings. They will also give you special amenities if you tell them that it is your anniversary.
I vote for the Gaylord Texan Resort on Lake Grapevine. It's an awesome hotel! I stayed there for a convention in July and felt like I was in another world. They have a regular mystery-dinner show at one of the restaurants, and I'm sure they'll have something special going on that time of year too.
The Four Seasons in Las Colinas.
You might want to try the Gaylord in Grapevine, it is a huge hotel
