Hi
We recently moved to Nashua from Massachusetts. I am thinking of switching pediatricans. And was looking for Recomendations. I was thinking of Nashua Pediatrics. I need a very patient female pediatrician as I have an 8 year old who has a very hard time at the doctors. Even a throat swab is tramatic for her. I also have a 3 year old who unlike her sister is usually a breeze at the Dr.'s

What can I do next?

Hi B.! Welcome to NH! I take my 8mo old daughter to Nashua Pediatrics. Dr. Jennifer Page is good, I had her on one occasion when my regular dr, Dr. Ann Dobbins was unavailable. She (Page) was very sweet, but misdiagnosed a blocked tear duct for conjunctivitis. Not a big deal, but it just elongated the healing time. When I went back in a week, bc it wasn't getting better, Dobbins saw us and recognized it for what it was, told us to massage it, and it was gone in a day. Dr. Dobbins is very sweet and patient with my baby. She does seem a little "old school" -but that is how I am as well. She works for us! Actually, when we first started going there, we met with a few different dr's the first few visits. I know that isn't the best -continuity of care and all- but we just were'nt that comfy with the first two. I'm sure if you wanted, you could do the same. We found what we wanted in Dobbins. Good Luck honey!

I have been going to Merrimack Valley Pediatrics (next to the Nashua Police Station) and have been happy with them. There are two female peds there. The best part about MVP is that their nursing staff is GREAT and they have office hours 7 days/week.

Sadly, the only practice I would stay away from is Dartmouth Hitchcock for peds........although they have a couple of really good doctors (Frumkim and Taub), I have seen that they often over prescribe antibiotics (in my opinion/experience)

I am so, so, so happy with Nashua Pediatrics after switching from another. I never wait, can always get an emergency appointment, even on the weekends. And let me just tell you, Dr. LeBlanc and Dr. Kukay are the best doctors with nervous children. We had such a bad experience at another practice, and they were very, very, very doctor shy after that. Dr. LeBlanc is very child centered, and calm, and my kids just love him now. They hug him! Dr. Kukay IS Patch Adams I swear, he is just a bundle of positive energy. They have a couple of females in the practice too, and all the doctors have been great, but those two are my absolute favorite. Even at the hospital they say, oh, you have Dr LeBlanc? Dr Kukay, don't you just LOVE him? And my kids answered YES! I can't recommend them highly enough. The nurses are great, the staff is wonderful, and I can get someone on the phone when I call, none of this someone will call you back then you sit for hours and hours. I say you can't do better in Nashua than these doctors.

We really love our Ped, Dr. Lila Monahan at Partners in Pediatrics, off Spit Brook Road in Nashua. Its a little far for us, but she's great, very mild mannered. My daughter has had several ear infections and she still sits quietly while Dr. Monahan inspects her ears! I've heard good things about the other two docs in that practice too, but haven't actually seen them yet.
Good luck!
