I am looking for someone who can give my camera a thorough cleaning. The shutter is slow and I think it's just sticky from too many spills and laying around in the bottom of the stroller. I have been over to Wolf Camera and the problem I have with them is that they want to ship it off to some other location to have the work done. Taking about 3 weeks. I am 8 months pregnant and don't want to risk being without it when the baby arrives. Is there anyone out there who knows of someone that does the work themselves? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I took my camera there and only had to wait about a week for the repair. I had the same situation with Wolf Camera. I love Wolf, but they wanted to ship my camcorder off for three weeks as well and I didn't have three weeks to wait.

I know that Ritz does it. My brother praises Arlington Camera off of Cooper and Randol Mill (I think) if you are close to that area. Let me check with my sister-in-law as photography is her hobby and she has worked at many camera places, I know she does hers herself, but I don't know if she has done or would do anyone elses just for the liability factor as this is a personal hobby of hers.
