Have you looked at regular dentists rather than pediatric specialists because my dentist and her husband are not on your list but she is fabulous and I imagine he is as well. Some insurance companies allow other providers if the provider will accept the insurance even if they are not on your list of approved care-givers. Amy Bender. ###-###-####.
You might consider putting those names into google, there are some sites that allow patient reviews so you might be able to figure out which one of those dentists seems to make patients happy.
I would go to Amy if I had no insurance or if she wasn't on mine I would really consider opting to pay out of pocket. She is the only dentist in my life that gave me novacaine and I didn't feel like my face was huge and about to fall off. The injection didn't hurt, and she somehow managed to give me just enough to not need any more and do the work totally without pain. She actually made going to the dentist fun. She has a sunny disposition and she is efficient in her work.
I referred her to a neighbor and her whole staff was out ill with the flu or something. Dr. Bender was going back and forth between two patients, kept apologizing, and my neighbor was like she did a great job and I wouldn't have even known the staff were out if she hadn't kept apologizing for it. She is not a pediatric dentist but kids love her and she is really, really good with them.
