My twin grandchildren are visiting the 11th through the 18th of May. I have everhthing I need at this point except for one car seat for a 22lb or larger child. I am out of town Monday through Wednesday at 5pm. Any quick rental recommendations in or near the Flower Mound or Lewisville areas.

If you can't find one to borrow,I'd suggest you buy a used one at either Kid to Kid or Once Upon a Child. Both are in Flower Mound. They really shouldn't be that much. You might even be able to return it or resell it afterwards.
J., I have a toddler seat that you can borrow if you still need one. I live in Bedford. Let me know and we can coordinate. I may also have an infant seat. You can borrow both and see which works. I believe infant seats fit up to 22lbs.

Of course, if you're going to the expense, you might check local resale shops. You could buy it, then sell it back. You might get better money on the return if you sell it at a different shop from where you bought it.
I don't know of anywhere you can rent stuff like that, but there is a cute consignment store in Denton, called baby's Britches. They have all that stuff very reasonably priced, and will buy it back from you when you are done with it. Maybe an idea.......... If you go tell them thier bow maker sent you!

I am not aware of anyone who rents car seats, however, you can buy a used one from CCA resale on 121 in Lewisville. Also, you can buy one from WalMart for around $20.00 and then donate it to CCA resale when you are done! You can write it off on your taxes too! :-)
