I am looking for the following OBGYN:
*Female
*Located in the hospital district (nothing north of there) or southward toward SW/Cityview area
*delivers at Baylor All Saints if possible
*has a nurse that you can actually get a hold of and doesn't mind a lot of ques (that goes for the doc too)
*has a persoanable bedside manner
*is pro-breastfeeding

I know that's a lot of demands from a doc, but I LOVE my current doc, but the drive is just too far I think. I have had Dr. Deem recommended to me by several people-any further comments on her?? I want to switch before getting pg again.

Thanks for any help.

R.

I know that I've told you I love Dr. Deem. The office is managed really well and the staff is super nice. Her nurse Kim is amazing, and had a little boy named Zach right after I did. Lindsey Dula goes to her too and likes her. Steve also liked Dr. Deem a lot. I just highly highly recommend her. She delivers mostly at Harris SW, but I think she can do Baylor All Saints as well. She told us that if Harris was full when we delivered that they might send us to All Saints. Hope this helps.

Hi, R..
I switched to my current OB/GYN when I became pregnant with my daughter, and I really like her. (I ended up on bedrest for almost 6 weeks, and I was terrified. She's *very* calm and reassuring.) I don't have her contact information with me right now, but her name is Dr. Carolyn Quist. She delivers at Baylor, her office is right across the street, and I've always been able to get in touch with the office staff with questions. Oh, and she's pro-breastfeeding, too. She didn't actually deliver my baby, but I was really happy with her associate (also female) who did. Hope this helps! I'll look up the contact info too, if you can't find her in the phone book.
Good luck!

Dr Deem is very nice. She works in the same office as my midwife, Marlys Spikes. Marlys has delived both of my sons ages 6 and 1. Everyone at this location is wonderful. The office phone number is ###-###-####. Maryls transferred me to Dr Suba becuase of problems with my last pregnancy. Dr Suba treated me for 2 months and gave me the okay to go back to Marlys. Maryls encourages breastfeeding and will answer any and all questions. She takes the time to listen and visit. I have only met Dr Deem once, but she was very nice. Good Luck. if you have any more questions just email me.
