It may be far for you but we went to dr. bressler in fort washington and had a very good experience. I would tell you to get an early appointment that way you won't have to wait long. Their website is www.cavistybusters.com
Hi, my daughter will be 3 in August and want to take her to a dentist soon. I have heard of a few horror stories and I know trying to find a dentist I like for myself is hard enough let alone for my daughter. We are in the Collegeville/ Skippack area. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

My oldest had a cavity between her front teeth, so I took her to a dentist who wanted to put her under anesthesia to fill it - I was not willing run that risk, so we took her for a second opinion with Dr. Allan Pyke @ Dentistry for Children in Pottstown. He & the staff are wonderful with kids - making them laugh and really relaxed for the experience. He took care of her cavity right in the office - cavity drilled, filled and no dental trauma! I just took my youngest - (3 yo) and she loved it, too. Besides the comfort level and focus on kids, they do a great job scheduling, too. Highly recommended!!
Weaver and Reckner in Harleysville are wonderful. They are really kid friendly and go at the childs pace. They are located inside the Peter Becker community in Harleysville. Sorry, I don't have the number off hand but they should be in the phone book.
We see Dr. Missy at King of Prussia Dental Assoc. www.kingofprussiadental.com. My son saw her for the first time when he was 3 and he loves her. You can go back with him, she is really nice and has a nice fish/beach/ocean scene painted on the one wall and your child can watch a DVD. I wish my dentist was Dr. Missy :)
We see a pediatric dentist in Oaks, Dr. Sara Rashedi. http://www.oaksdentalspecialists.com/
She is very nice, lets you in during the exam and my kids like her. Her office is modern and clean. The receptionist is sometimes difficult to understand, but getting appointments is usually pretty easy, without having to wait months.

Hi K.,
We LOVE our dentists! My husband, myself and both our boys (8 & 12) go there. They have a Pediatric side, they are amazing.
I watched a tv show on dentist horrors .. and decided to never left my kids alone with ANY dentist, doctor or for that fact anyone. Always go with your child ... you are their advocate/protector.
My 8 year old had a bad dentist experience and hated dentist but then we went to Upper Merion Dental and he LOVES his dentist. He even say that you can call him for a referal. LOL
Check them out they are wonderful ~ http://www.uppermeriondental.com
She isn't a pediatric dentist only but we LOVE Tamra Volkova.
She's on 2nd Street in the small office complex across from the new WaWa.
We had been going there for years when Dr. Kerzie owned the space then he moved back to CA and sold the practice to her.
She does NOT come off as warm and fuzzy with adults, but she is awesome with kids of all ages and the staff is the same from the "Kerzie days".
They have fish tanks, a huge TV, the kids get to wear sunglasses and have a cuddle pillow. All the xrays are done immediately on a PC so they don't have to wear those crazy appliances.
We had a very good experience with Collegeville Dental in Collegeville, for our 3-year-old. He went with my husband and I when we had our dental appts. Their approach was to follow the child's pace, and just "do as much as they could." They were able to do a whole exam and a cleaning! All while Zachary was laying on top of me in the chair! Good luck!
Black and bass dentistry in lansdale! They are a family dentist. But their slogan is " we cater to cowards"! My husband and I use them, and he might as well be a toddler when it comes to the dentist. Check out their website. Www.blackandbass.com
good luck!
