It's a process- first find a regular pediatrician (I wasn't a fan of Cook's or the Baylor Clinics- went to both and finally settled on KidCare Pediatrics in Keller) After your initial visit they'll get you a referral to a child psychologist.
In the area most of the child psychologists are connected to Cook Children's you call Cooks- and they will then put you on a waiting list- it can take up to 6 months to get in to see someone. If you have time to do the research you can call all the local Child Psychologists and see if they are connected to the Cook's program- I luckily found one who had just moved to Keller- but her schedule filled immediately- her name is Jaime Young. It may be easier to get in on her waiting list than on the Cooks.
But my advice after going through this a year ago- get in to see the Pedatrician ASAP so you can get on the Cook's list.
