get a sprayer and fill with HOT water and vinegar.. the smell is awful, but soak the walls (score them first with a scorer) and the wallpaper will come off very easily.
We just moved into a house in Melrose, just north of Boston, and we need a bunch of wallpaper removed and walls painted. I was hoping someone here has had a good experience and could give me a suggestion. Also, looking for once a week house cleaning. If you have any other recommendations in or around the Melrose area, ie. restaurants, preschool, churches, shops, etc. please send them my way! Thanks so much!!

My husband is a painter. He has recently been thinking about going out on his own. If you would like an estimate, you can call me at ###-###-####. He painted my friend's condo in 2 evenings (after work) and she has told everyone she knows what a great job he did. Two of her friends and her mother had him come do work at their condos/ houses, as well. The only thing is, he is working now so he could do it on a weekend. I also know a good cleaner, but I will have to get the phone number (my aunt and uncle use them and love them).
I know a great house cleaner! She lives in Arlington but drives all over. Her name is Naime Silva, pronounced Ni-me. Her number is ###-###-####. She has reasonable rates and can usually get to you about a week or so after you call. My brother-in-law is a contractor and paints interior/exterior, everything! His name is Joe Buckley, and you can reach him at ###-###-####. If you do call him, tell him you got his name from his brother Mike's wife L.. Good luck!
My father and a friend of his do that kind of work here the number if your want a painter and wall papper removed its ###-###-#### ask for Robert Luebbe
