I am looking for a good cool mist humidifier. Does anyone have one they love? I'm tired of the kind with filters and not being able to find the replacements except during the winter. And looking for one that's easy to clean as well as not horribly loud. Thanks!
We have a hunter brand humidifier and love it. I also saw a really nice looking one in a Super H Mart last week. They only had two models and they both seemed really nice.
I like the one's at target that are shaped like animals. You can get a pig, cow, and a couple of others I think. We have the frog and we have used it for a while. They do not have a filter, but you do have to make sure that you clean them really well. I clean it with vinegar and water. I highly recommend them b/c you don't have to deal with the filter!
sears has one that does not require a filter. don't bother with one that has filters. you are just making a breeding ground for mold. sears has a huge selection that doesn't require filters and if I remember correctly, you can just stick it in the dishwasher to wash. it's pretty quiet too. I needed one when my son had surgery and i loved it. I sat and read every box. 5 cool humidifiers later. it is in storage right now, so i don't have the name.
Air O Swiss it's made in Switzerland. Very quiet and comes with a filter. Check it out online, I have 2 for my sons who are 3 and 4mths.
