Hi C.,
We found a great place on Overland/Venice it is called Wizkids ###-###-#### family operated business and the kids love the staff. It is home away from home.
Good luck

My son is now nearly 3 1/2 and we don't have the budget for the swanky preschool we put him on the waiting list for. I have no back up and I know he would get so much from the preschool experience. My daughter is 16 mo. and I have not yet put her on any waiting lists. I have had a hard time getting through to the few places I have called or gone to. I would SO APPRECIATE any inside info on a place that might be able to take my son this year and any place you would recommend for my daughter. I would be willing to drive a bit if I need to. THANK YOU!
My son started preschool today! Can't thank you all enough for all the great information. I still can't believe I was able to find the perfect school, with an opening and in our budget. AMAZING! Special thanks to Laurie at Creative Kids Learning Garden.

I am not positive but I think there might be a space at Canyon School. 1820 Las Palmas Ave, 90028.###-###-####. My son just started. We love it. Its a CO-OP so you have to put in three hours a week. You can bring both kids when you work. The cost is low because of all the parent involvement. Its really cute and fun! Good luck.
Hey C.! One of the places I checked out was the Westchester Co-op, and I'm pretty sure they have room this session. I think the website is www.mywps.com, but you might have to google it!! It's a co-op, so you'd have to be there with the kids one day every other week, but the parents seemed very motivated, and the kids seemed happy, plus, it's a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps.

Hi C.,
My name is D. Markovic and I am the Concierge for Jewish Education at the Bureau of Jewish Education in LA. My job is to help families find the Jewish parenting groups, preschools, day schools, religious schools and camps that suit them best. Should you be interested in exploring Jewish preschools on the westside, I might be able to help. Some do offer tuition assistance; most require that one parent be Jewish, but not all. Feel free to contact me anytime: ###-###-#### or ____@____.com; the Concierge service is free!
Best,
D.
try your local churches. They often have affordable preschools.
Hi C.,
Check our your local chuches/synagogues - they usually have much better prices than regular private preschools. We did this (in the Valley) and were very happy with the experience.
Good luck!
