The Backyardigans, Uniqua, Tyrone, Pablo
Blues clues- Blue, Joe/Steve and periwinkle.
Dora, Boots and Swiper the Fox
My dd is 2 1/2 and she is going to be Uniqua from the Backyardigans
I am looking for any ideas for my 3 kids for Halloween costumes. I have 3 1/2 yr old twins (boy/girl) and a 22 mo old boy. I would like to find something that is related - such as last year they were Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Lion from Wizard of Oz. I wanted something cute but can not think of something that is appropriate for their age. Any suggestions??

My two are going to be Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, you could also add the Woodsman for the 3rd.
What about hotdog, mustard, and ketchup?
How about goldilocks and the 2 bears. You can get 3 wild animals,or 3 sea animals. Another idea would be that your daughter would be a princess and the boys each a different prince
How about thing 1 and thing 2 and then Cat in the Hat. You could just get footed pj's for thing one and thing 2 and then black sweats and go buy the hat for cat in the hat. I really wanted to do this for my 3 kids but my daughter didn't want to be the cat in the hat.
A friend with 3 children (one set of twins in the mix) did Dr. Seuss Cat in a Hat with Thing 1 and Thing 2 and it was adorable!
I would go with the cat in the hate and thing 1 and thing 2. That is adorable! I too have my children dress as themes. This year it's super heros! Wonderwoman and Spiderman!
For your 22 month to keep warm too -
Cat in the hat: Look on ebay. Search for red striped tall hat, if not they do sell them in orientaltrading.com. By a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and add a tail. White socks to cover hands and feet (also keep warm!)
For the twins -
Thing 1 and Thing 2: By red sweatpants/sweatshirts or if you could find footed red pajamas. Paint Round circles 1 and 2 on front, or cut out cardboard and construct as a necklace. Find blue short hair wigs. Check ebay or even just any color wispy wig and spray paint it blue with the hair color spray.
Hope this helps! Great ideas everyone!

My kids are much younger (DD is 2 B/G twins just turned 5 mths) I was thinking....3 little pigs and my husband is going as the big bad wolf, or we were doing Old McDonald's Farm with the kids as a cow, pig, sheep and Dad as Old McDonald.
They could be different color crayolas or M&M's.....
One of the mom's I know with 3 little ones (not twins)is having them go as monkeys...Hear/Speak/See no evil....that one made me laugh...
Good luck!

I would look at some old cartoons...Scooby Doo, Flintstones...maybe some newer shows, DoodleBops, Dora Diego & Boots, or Sesame Street characters...Disney, Mickey,Minnie and Donald-or Goofy, etc.
Look at some costume web sites like www.buycostumes.com
or www.halloweenexpress.com
to get some more ideas also.
Hi C.,
The first thing that I thought of is that your children can dress up as the Doodlebops - DeeDee, Rooney and Moe. If I think of anything else I'll let yo uknow.

I Love Winnie The Pooh... So how bout the crew. Try winnie the pooh, huffalump, piglet, or even tigger. That'll be cute...
Love the ideas you have gotten so far. I thought of a farmer and two farm animals, The Doodlebops, The Three Little Pigs, Pooh Bear, a pot of honey, and a bee, Three Blind Mice, a knight and two dragons (or a maiden), or you could just pick a theme and they could dress up like that such as luau, old west, or 60's. Good luck!!!
Oh just thought about the Teletubbies!
Hi, C.. Check out this website. Scroll all the way down to the multi-part costumes.

How about dressing them all up as the Incredibles? There were two older children, Dash and Violet, and a younger boy, Jack, in the movie. Ebay has a ton of Incredibles costumes and accessories, and I'm sure there are a bunch of childrens websites where you could order them from too. Good luck!
I was going to suggest Wizard of Oz! I saw a really cute costume set online that was a dragon for a boy with a princess for a girl. My kids (boy and girl) were rabbits last year and this year are both going to be elephants. Old Navy has some really cute costumes that are not too pricy ($16). Not sure if there are any good themes, though. Good luck, i love halloween.

I just have twins and we are doing princess leia, darth vader so you could maybe do something in that route. A friend of mine who has twins and another child did Dr. Suess and Thing 1, Thing 2. This year she is doing M&M's and then I can't remember what the 3rd child will be. Good luck!
i tell everyone this, think it's such a cute idea: cat in the hat and thing 1 and thing 2. the 2 thing costumes are just red onesie jammies (or you can get red turtle necks and red sweatpants and socks) and sew on Thing 1 and Thing 2 on the front of the shirt. YOu can find the cat/hat costume online somewhere. good luck! :)
the 3 blind mice!! so cute i saw it online somewhere when i was looking for family costume
