The CVS brand of diapers and also the Osco Brand Sav-on Diapers work really well. I have not had a leak with them yet. My daughter is also a size three and she has never leaked at night with these diapers.
I need to find a good diaper for my son who has been leaking thru his diaper for the last several nights. My husband always gets him ready for bed so I thought he maybe wasn't getting it on tight enough, so I got him ready him for bed last night and it happened once again. So there goes that theory:)..... He's in size 3 diapers. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a strange idea but it works. Take a maxi pad and stick it at the top of the diaper horizontally. It takes care of the night problems for my kids. The other option is trying to go up a size but a 4 seems big for a 8 nonth old.
I use Pampers Cruisers. I like them the best out of all diapers and I have tried everything. Also, maybe try going up a size at night only or maybe he just needs to go up a size alltogether. I hope this helps!
We have the same problem using the Kirkland brand for our 2 year old girl and 6 month old boy, and use Pampers Cruisers at night. I have tried Huggies and Luvs too, and the Pampers Cruisers are the only ones that have not let me down yet.
I used Overnights diapers by Huggies and they worked well. However, the same thing happened to my daughter at about 11 months, and at almost 13 months, she got very sick and we found out that she was type 1 diabetic. What a shock, I never thought a child that young could be diabetic. Below are additional symptoms of diabetes. Please see if your child has any of these additional symptoms and take him to the pediatrician to get a simple blood test if he does. If he does, and you catch it early, he may not end up in ICU for 3 days like my baby did. Don't mean to be an alarmist, but I wish someone had told me about the symptoms when my daughter was wetting through at night.
Warning signs of type 1 diabetes (these may occur suddenly):
Extreme thirst
Frequent urination
Sudden vision changes
Sugar in urine
Fruity, sweet, or wine-like odor on breath
Increased appetite
Sudden weight loss
Drowsiness, lethargy
Heavy, labored breathing
Stupor, unconsciousness

I vote for huggies overnights. Also would go a size up. My son tends to leak during a night (I never had that problem with my daughter) and overnights are really helping us a lot!
Dear N.,
I had the same problems with my two boys, but it wasn't the diaper. They do get an erect Penis at night at this age.
So they pee upwards and get wet.
Sometimes I put some soft tissue paper in the front.
Good luck Marion
My sister had this problem because my niece (11 months old) sleeps 13 hours at night. No diaper could hold it all so she puts a plastic pair of training pants over the diaper to keep her dry! We both use Pampers Cruisers, and I have no leaking problems.
try a bigger size poss
and my sister just loves the walmart brand parents choice for my nephew no leaks
I had this problem with my son, but not my daughter. Sizing up never worked for us, but we found resolution using Huggies Overnights. Good luck!
I would reccommend the OVERNIGHTS by huggies. I believe they come in 3-5 or maybe 4-5. My daughter always leaked at night with regular diapers too. She never has leaked in these diapers.
My cousin's son was a heavy wetter. She used the overnight diapers and he still leaked through them. She started putting a maxi pad inside the diaper. She used the ones with out the adhesive, so it wouldn't flip backwards. She said it worked great.

Huggies Supreme. The Best Diaper available in this world.
Have you thought about putting him in size 4 diapers at night? as you don't change his diaper as frequently as you do during the day (and he probably has a big bottle before bed), that could be the problem.
I started "increasing" the diaper size for my daughter at night and haven't had any leaker problems since.

I agree with the other responses. I had the same problem, but not until recently with my 2 yo boy. I never had this problem with my girls. I tried the Huggies overnights, which worked. Plus I recently moved him up a diaper size, which has helped, as I frequently forget to put the Overnights, but have not had as many leaks with that either. The larger diaper helps leaking through to the sheet, but I still have experienced leaking through to the pj's.
I agree, what a pain. Hope this helps!!

This morning tricia made a similar request, and I suggest u see the wonderful advices she had recieved regarding this problem :o)
I also had this problem, maybe the diaper is too small or cut back on all fluids after 4 pm that will also help. It's such a PAIN to have to change the bedding everyday. I use Cruisers and they seem to be fine.
When that started happening with my boys, I would just Size up at night. So if he's in a 3 during the day, put him in 4's at night. That always seemed to work for us!
I have 3 boys and without a doubt Pampers are best for boys. I had friends who have girls and they prefer Huggies or Luvs. I believe that Pampers fit a little higher around the waist and since boys pee up vs girls peeing down that is the difference. I also found going to the next size up even if they are not that weight yet made a huge difference. Good Luck.
This sounds a little strange but we put two diapers on our daughter for quite a while, probably until she was about 18 months. We just put one diaper over the other and it worked really great. I tried this out of desperation after everything else failed me , including the special overnight diapers. Good luck!!!
I was having the same issue with my son who was also in size 3 diapers. Even though he wasn't up to the weight requirement for size 4, I switched him to size 4s at night. That helped tremendously.
Huggies overnights. I use them for my son. Works great.
I was having the same problem with my 9mth old. We switched from Huggies 2 and Pampers 2 to Pampers 3 and have not had any problems as of yet.
I'll add my vote for Huggies Overnights. We had a similar problem where my son was leaking out of everything I tried until we found the Overnights.
I also get these cheaper through www.1800diapers.com if you use AmHo788 as your referral coupon code, you can get $2.00 off your first order, and if you order a certain dollar amount all at once you don't pay for shipping.
huggies supreme! If he's leaking, maybe try the next size up. Good Luck!! And regardless of what the others say, Pampers Cruisers $&%k!!!!
Pampers Cruisers are the best!
Pampers cruisers....best, hands down. They move with the child so they're constantly protected, even through the night. Good Luck!
I just wanted to put in another vote for Pampers Cruisers! They are amazingly absorbant. If you do that AND go to a size 4 at bedtime, I think your troubles will be over!

My husband and I have 9 month old twins and during the day we use Luvs, target, pampers but at night we only use Pampers Cruisers. They seem to hold better. The other thing that worked for us was when the boys got close to the next size diaper, we moved them into the bigger one for night. I really recommend the cruisers for night, they are more expensive but for nights they are great!
Good Luck!

Well, there is this nighttime diaper that we used for our son but I dont know the brand. It might be by pampers. It says nighttime right on it and works great. We had this problem too. Also, you know what I swear by? Luvs is the best to me. It always has been and it does not leak as much as the others. My son and my middle daughter wet alot at night and we used both of these for them. Another thing you can do is for nighttime, get the liners that go in the diaper. just a thought. I hope this helps you.

You don't mention what diaper brand you are using, but I was using Huggies and had the same problem. I recently switched over to the Pampers cruisers and we haven't had an accident since.
