Hi moms,

I have an issue with diapers during the night. My son is soaked up to his chest almost every morning with pee. :( I would love some recommendations before I go out and spend money on diapers that still don't work. Here are the ones I've tried so far:
Huggies (regular) size 3
Pampers cruisers size 3
Pampers easy-ups size 4

Jake is almost 11 months old and he weights about 22 lbs, so he can wear size 3 or 4 on most brands. I'm guessing size 4 would be the better option cause they are bigger, and have more room to absorb?

Thank you so much in advance!

P.S. Did you see all the wonderful snow outside??? :D Happy holidays to everyone!

What can I do next?

I had the same problem with my little girl around 6 months of age. What has worked for me is having her wear the next size up in a diaper at night. I've also been using Pampers Baby Dry. So far, no leaks have occurred for the last 6 months. Hope this works for you; I know how frustrating it can be for both you and your son to wake up wet.

They make Huggies Overnights for more protection at night, I recommend that. They worked for us, just cost more $.
You could also just trying to go up a size in a regular diaper.

I don't know much about cloth diapers, but they make liners to go in them for more absorbency, and absorbent covers (I believe they call them soakers). Maybe you could try one of these covers over the regular diaper to soak up any extra... you'd only need them at bedtime.
I have seen cloth diaper supplies on Craigslist.com and etsy.com and on Hyena cart.

Huggies Overnights are the only diapers that have worked for my 21 month old twins. We've been using them for several months. They do get quite full sometimes, but they've never leaked like the other ones did. I still use my Pampers Cruisers during the day, but we ALWAYS use the Huggies at night. If you look in the Sunday paper, they usually have coupons for $1.50 off any Huggies brand, so that helps.

Okay, I have had the same problem with my son. Boys are more difficult because, well they have extra equipment. What I have found works, with his weight (22lbs?) is the pampers either swaddlers or cruisers (cruisers work better) but up the size. Try a size 4 next time. Huggies have leaked everytime with my son. Luvs (not the most softest diaper) but they work well too. But I swear by Pampers swaddlers and cruisers. But at his stage I would definitley try the pampers cruisers about a size 4. And always stay ahead of the weight. Once the diapers start getting snug move to the next size. Good luck!!!
