I am a breast cancer survivor and had a masectomy with a bilateral reconstruction. My surgeon got a little excited and gave me very large implants. My dilemma is I can not find a bathing suit top to fit me. I am looking for someone that would be willing to make a custom bathing suit. If anybody knows someone that could do this for me I would really appreciate it. I would supply all the materials needed.

www.laplageswimwear.com has very nice suits that will accomodate large breasts with many styles and colors to choose from. I have bought 3 from them.
Check out cyberswim.com. They don't have custom made but carry the miracle suit line which has D and DD cups available and as an added bonus it has a little lycra which holds everything else in nicely.

In the spring, Dillards and Macy's carries swimsuits/bikinis for ladies with D's and above.
There is a company that does this. www.customMadeSwimwear.com. I saw their ad in Shape magazine.

Swimwear which is customized by bra size is called "Bra-sized Swimwear." You can get it in any cup size. The other poster listed mentioned some online stores. Loretta's in Flower Mound and, I think, Plano carries bra-sized swimwear. You may want to call first as I'm not sure if they carry it year around but I bought my last suit there this past Spring. The women that work there are great at "fitting" you. They are a great source of European bras for the large busted which have made a huge difference in comfort and appearance for me.

I don't know anyone who does custom suits but went through the same situation in 2007. Although my implants are proportionate to my figure, it's difficult to fit bras. I have two children (13 and 8) and am happily married. I don't know what I would have done without him there to help and support me.
Where did you receive your treatment? I did everything at Baylor in Dallas and am very happy with the team that worked with me.
