Hello, I was wondering if anyone can sugg. some great places to order from for a surprise party I am having. There will be 15 kids and about 40 adults. I would like to keep the food simple yet tasty, ex. chicken, beef, sides, ect. but I don't want to spend a small fortune either. I live in the palos heights area. Thanks for your help.

Their are a few great places, first off the top of my head there's POP's Beef in Orland Park (143rd Wolf), then there's Salina's in Tinley Park which delivers (www.cateringbysalinas.com). Have you thought maybe ordering chicken from Jewels and Beef from an Italian Store? I know that there's a great Italian store over by Palos Hospital area, that my sister always use.

I second Pop's in Orland, at 143rd & Wolf. I used them for my daughter's catering a few years back, and I think I had a deal for $5.50 per person, which includes 3 dishes and sides - chicken, ravoli, beef, and salads.
I've used Corky's and Portillo's and both are reasonable and pretty good.
Fox's on Wolf is EXCELLENT. We do all of our catering from Fox's. You could also do Portillo's. Or even check your local pizza places for chicken/beef.
My mom lives in Orland Park and uses the VFW Hall on 63rd and Harlem all the time. There food is great and they are super affordable and they deliver anywhere. Give them a call.
