I need a really Great pair of doctors for my family. I need a Really Great family practice doctor that my husband and I can go to and a even Greater Pediatrician for my 16 and 4 year old. I have special needs in a doctor. He or she MUST be a good listener and be patient and willing to take the time to explain things. I am looking into weight loss surgery and my doctor will have to take the time to read all my records from California and help me find the best surgeon.
Dr Roland Flanagan is an excellent pediatrician. I know 3 or 4 others who go to him and all love him. In fact any of the TX Childrens doctors that I have seen or heard about are excellent.
There are 3 Tx Childrens offices in TW. The closest to I-45 is Dr Bernadette Haggerty and her partner. Dr Flanagan is at the Research Forest office.

I love my regular doctor David Cos. He's by Memorial Hermann here in The Woodlands and I wouldn't consider looking anywhere else. He really takes the time to show that he cares and doesn't look at you like you're just another patient, but a person.
I also am glad I found our pediatrician, Roland Flanagan, at the intersection of Research Forest and Gosling. He has seen all three of my children, ages 13, 11 and 8, and I have been impressed with him every time. He spent the longest time that I have ever seen one of my doctors spend with one of my kids when my 13 year old was having some problems. He was thorough, caring, very intuitive, etc.

Hello F.! The Pediatrician I use for my 2 boys (4yr & newborn) is Dr. Shahzad Islam who owns and operates Northwest Pediatrics located on Borough Park Dr. off of Sawdust road. He has been awesome with my boys and my 4 yr old is so comfortable with him and will let the Dr check him with no objections! Previous Dr.'s he would sometimes get real nervous or scared. Dr. Islam is always willing to listen to my concerns and explains anything and everything if I don't fully understand. His wife also works with him and they recently hired a new female Dr. to join the the staff. Several of the nurses and office workers have been there for over 4 yrs. so that tells me they enjoy where they work and that means alot to me. The practice is one of the smaller ones but they are always busy. By that I mean they are great at what they do and that's why people go to them. Sorry to blab so long but really believe in this practice and completely trust him with mt sons. Good luck!

I have one of the best pediatricians and he was a referral from several friends when I moved here. Dr. Kapasi at Nanes Pediatrics located off 1960 on Nanes. We have been with him for two years and love that he is very good at looking for all symptoms and good at following up on the progress of your child as well. Very sweet nature.
