I have a great pediatrician here in Castle Rock- LOVE him- BUT the front desk lady who you have to seal with EVERY TIME is a NIGHTMARE...& I am sick of dealing with her attitude & overall demeanor...I have tolerated it for this long b/c I like the doc so much...bi=ut now there are older & not going to the doc office every month- I'm willing to look at all of my options...
I'd prefer:
local ( Castle Rock/Parker )
I want to see the SAME DOC at visits & NOT a PA
Seperate sick area from the well area
ON TIME ( or close to it ) for appts
one thing that this office does that I'd LOVE to find again is- I can call at night & if serious (high fever)- they will MEET ME AT THE OFFICE at night!

It sounds like you have a great Pediatrician. I agree with the other response, before you change, let the dr. know the problem. I have never heard of a dr. meeting somebody at the office at night time, that is just amazing to me.
Our Pediatrician is great, she's in Parker at Greenwood Pediatrics - Dr. Gill. ###-###-####. I don't get to see her every time, but more often than not.

I don't know of a Dr. in C.R. I just want to voice my opinion about the lady at the front desk. I worked front desk in a doctor's ofc for years w/ one other person & our patients loved us! We took a lot of pride in keeping our patients happy & all front dest staff should do the same. Please, if you haven't already, complain to the office manager (if they have one) & the doctor himself. If & when you do leave the practice he needs to know that she is the reason why. Doctors need to know these things so they can be addressed. I'm betting that you're not the only person annoyed w/ her. Please voice your concerns & I'd love to know how it all turns out. Good luck!

I agree with the others. Talk to the doctor, preferably in person, about your frustration, and let him know that you are looking for another doctor. I doubt you will find another doctor who has so many great assets. At least give him a chance to fix the problem. I have worked through similar things with our doctor and he's always been on the patient's side. GL!

I'd really recommend you chat with the doctor since it seems like you have everything else you want. Chances are you are not the only one who feels that way. You never know what is going on in someone's life that causes them to act a certain way.
For our short visits, we go to Founders Family Medicine (but it won't meet your overall criteria). For my real annual visits (kids are 9, 9 and 11) I still drive up to Partners in Pediatrics. I'm not sure if they would meet you in the middle of the night, but they will call you right back and they are very naturally bent versus take a drug.

Perry Street Pediatrics in Castle Rock is a really great office, but I'm not sure if they have everything you are looking for. I'd make an appointment and check them out. Good luck!

I realize that this was a couple years ago that you wrote this. I am just wondering what you decided to do and if you decided to change pediatricians.
