M.M.
DH and I are planning a long weekend in Saugatuck, MI right now.
I think it's 2hrs away.
I've never been there, but it looks really cute.
The B&B and I found was The Bayside Inn, and looked adoreable.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are in need of a getaway-we havent since our honeymoon almost 7 years ago. With our 2 year old now it's hard, so it will be a weekend getaway. I was thinking of Lake Geneva or near by. Anyone have some great B&B suggestions?? Anywhere that is not "too far away but far enough!" LOL :-) Thanks!

The American Club at Kohler in WI. You get there, change into a robe, and never have to get out of your robe until you leave again! Make sure you stay at the American Club. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and h'orderves before dinner included. Plus you get a discount at the Spa. Such an indulgence but worth it! They also have packages available that include dinner. Enjoy!
The Herrington in Geneva.... i can't say enough
my husband actually surprise me 2 weekends ago with an overnight getaway to Lake Geneva. He had been planning it for over a month without me knowing. :) We didn't do the B&B thing, but we stayed at The Geneva Inn and loved it. Great view of the lake, close enough to town to still get there and do things but also far enough out of town that we felt like we were secluded from the people and cars. The Inn has a shuttle that took us to dinner, so we didn't have to drive.
Lake Geneva is a great idea! And with me being 28 weeks pregnant then, and our 3 girls with my in-laws it was far enough away to feel away but close enough for any emergencies. :)
have fun!!
Galena is amazing! My husband and I have spent anniversaries there, wine tasting, window shopping, spas... We stayed at Eagle Ridge Resort but I know they have lots of B&B's there. They sell out fast though :)
