Need a Corn Pad or Rice Pad

Hi Moms,
I have a corn pad that someone made for me years ago. I and my family share using it so it's very worn. We prefer corn pads to electric heating pads. I'm in desperate need of more! Does anyone know someone who makes and sells them? Some people use rice instead of corn. Please let me know if you know someone or if you are that someone. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi T.,
I am that someone who makes rice packs! You can check out my website at www.HotTaMollie.com or give me a call. My fabrics are great and I'm sure I have something you would like.

As you've read- many are suggesting you make your own with a tube sock and pouring in regular dried rice and then just knotting the end. I have done this and it works great.

I too prefer this to electric heating pad since it won't cook your or burn down your house if it has some sort of short in it.

I personally manage Fibromyalgia and have experimented with this a bit since moist heat works best for me when I'm going through a painful flare. I found a tube sock wasn't big enough to cover all I needed. My best solution was a Hot Tub. Ha! Back to reality-

There is the same sort of heating pad and one of the largest I've seen for a low price commercially availible at www.collectionsetc.com Click under the Health/Beauty Tab at the top of the page and you'll see it listed right away. It's called an "AROMATHERAPY WRAP" and is just $15.00.

Hope this helps your family. :) A word of advice though- if you're serious and really want it-try ordering as quick as you can because the featured items are snatched up fast and will go out of stock from time to time.

God bless!

Try filling a cotton tube sock with rice(or corn) then sewing it shut. We used to use them for Mom's in labor. They work great!

I have seen them at Canton First Monday before. Of course you would have to look for them there, or they might have somekind of website to narrow what section to look in ?
