Need a Bigger Stroller for 2 Year Old

Hi Moms - I have a 2 year old boy that has been off the charts since day one and now is too big for his stroller. We had gotten the Graco Quattro tour system and it was excellent when he was younger, but now when he is in it, his feet hit the tires. He definitely isn't at that point where he can walk everywhere and I didn't know if anyone knew of a brand that was bigger than the ones you see in Babies R Us or the other stores. Thank You...

What can I do next?

What about a Sit and Stand stroller? Your younger child can be in front and your 2 year old can sit or stand in the back. It has straps so he can be belted in if necessary.

(oops! I read "5 month old AND wheaton terrier. Sorry for the confusion!)

We have a Baby Trend one from Target. I love it and would highly recommend that you look into them.

Hope this helps,
B. :-)

A sit & stand stroller is great (especially if you're planning on having a 2nd child)...they have a really great one at One Step Ahead: http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId...

But if you're not planning on having another kid, a wagon would work just as great. Some have seats with straps (in case you have an escape artist like me), an umbrella/cover, and even a door. The radio flyer and step2 wagons have accessories that you can add on as you need them.

My son has also been off the charts since he was born at 3 he is almost 4ft tall. I have to say the Kidco Lifestyle stroller is one of the best. The stroller has a weight limit of 50lbs, has a wider seat, folds like a umbrella stroller, and has adjustable handles which is great because my husband and I are tall. It goes everywhere with us, we have taken it on numerous vacations and it still looks brand new. My son enjoys climbing in it and taking a nap or watching a video.

The company stopped making the stroller last year, but you can find new ones on the internet for about $90.00, half the price that I paid.

Good luck in your seach.

Have you looked at the BOB strollers? They are actually designed for off-road and running but are wonderful. I have the BOB Revolution and it folds up easily (although it's a bit heavy) and is a DREAM to push no matter what terrain you are on! Good luck!

You might want to look at a Baby Jogger City Mini Single. It's lightweight at only 16 lbs, folds easily and is great for tall kids. The push is great too! It doesn't have air tires but does have some suspension which makes it nice for going over uneven terrain or bumpy sidewalks.
Good luck! Here's a great website for stroller shopping. It's owned by two moms with fabulous advice and customer service.
