Narrow Kid's Shoes?

Hi,
My 6 YO daughter has very narrow feet and I am having a very hard time finding shoes for her this year. She wears a Kids size 1 and in the past I've always been able to get narrow shoes at Stride Rite but this year they don't have them in the store. They have a narrow pair of sandals on line but before I order them, do you have any other suggestions for finding narrow kid's shoes? She's at an age where she wants a cute pair of dress up shoes and they just slip off her feet...
Thanks!
C.

Stride Rite. I have super narrow feet and that was the only brand that fit me as a kid :) Now I bought my son his first pair because he's got skinny feet like his mama...

Have you checked w/ Nordstrom? They have hard to find sizes/widths in their women's shoes, so I wonder if they may also have a greater selection of kids sizes, as well.

Sigh* This was my problem as a child. As a result my mom made me wear white Keds constantly. (Yuck!)
My (6yo) DD also has a narrow foot-not as narrow as mine, I don't think, but narrow.
I have ordered numerous pairs of shoes from this company: http://morganandmilo.com/category.php?Category_Code=MG
And the Avril Mary Jane fits her foot quite nicely.
Recently bought the Woodstock Mary Jane and bought them too big. They do not fit as nicely-they are not as structured.
Not sure if they fit your criteria of dress up...but we always get compliments on them and they look cute w/ dresses.
HTH!

Check Shoebuy.com. They have a pretty good selection of the harder-to-find sizes, even for kids.

Nordstrom is good at providing specialty shoes.

Hmmm, Stride Rite was going to be my suggestion. Sorry.

Zappos carries kids shoes and you can narrow your search by width. I know what a nightmare this is - my daughter is the same way. Between narrow feet and tiny ankles it's almost impossible to find shoes.
