We have the Sunshine Kids Radian. It is narrower than most other car seats and very highly rated. So far no complaints, maybe just that it sits a little lower than other car seats so a little harder to see out the window.
I am in need of recommendations on narrow car seats. I need two boosters for 4 year olds, and one seat of a newly turning 1 year old. I have a Chrysler town and country. The seats need to go into the rear seat all together. Thanks in advance!

My friend has a Toyota Rav4 (a small SUV that isn't very wide) and she bought the car seats below.
She puts the baby car seat in the middle position and these two on each side in the back seat and it works perfectly.
Good luck.

We have the radian carseats as well and LOVE them!
You may want to check your vehicle's manual. I do not believe you can install a carseat in the middle position of the rear seat in most minivans. But, double check or maybe ask at carseat.org, just to be sure! Maybe a carseat tech will see this and clarify.
I second Tracey O- I have the radian 80's in my town and country and loooove them. They're nice and narrow, easy to put in and out. Super adjustable and extremely safe!
If you go to the blog I pasted below, the carseat nanny will help you find the perfect carseat for your car and price range. She really knows her stuff. She works with Debbi Baer, the car seat lady, who was instrumental in getting Maryland’s car seat law passed in the early 80’s requiring children to ride in car safety seats. Kat provided me with information for two different car seat at two different price points and both were they both great!

I've heard that Volvo makes a narrower carseat so that you can fit three across, but I've also hear that they are excessively expensive :P
I have 3 Radian 65's in the back of my Chrysler Town & Country. My 4 year old still uses it...and will for as long as I can get him to sit in it! That might not help you if you only want boster seats. Good Luck!
The Radian is a VERY narrow seat, it can sit any child from newborn to 65 or 80 lbs depending on which one you get. They sell them on Amazon.
They are HEAVY though, just telling you in advance. I do home daycare too and when I have to take it out it is weight lifting!! But very narrow base, and super safe too.
