For an au pair it would be $340 per week and for a nanny it would be double that or more. http://egendler.aupairnews.com

My nanny would ask for about $800+ a week for all you've described.

We're in California.
I hired a nanny 2 months ago. She does more or less what you mentioned (+ cooks lunch) for 2 kids.
The applicants asked from $15 to $20/hour but many were ready to go below because of the financial situation (many moms lost their jobs and therefor let go their nanny and many nannies are now looking for a job)
We pay $500/week only because our nanny is very young and without real experience. This amount is "guaranteed", so we pay that even if we don't need her (for example if we take the kids for a week-holidays...) and we also pay 2 weeks holidays/year and 6 days (Christmas, labor day, Independence, thanksgiving, New year)

I'd expect to pay about $20 per hour for this.

I used to get paid $300 a week for being a nanny to two kids and doing all that extra stuff. I have seen/heard that others get paid up to $400 a week.
Hope that helps.

The average I'm most familiar with is apx $2500 a month for full time.

You do also need to factor in at least one week, if not two, of paid vacation... sick time... & ideally 1-2 weeks salary as an xmas bonus. Hourly, though, is usually between 20-35.... which would make it 3200 - 5600... hence why most of the families I know use a straight monthly salary (and deal with sick days/vacation etc) rather than by the hour.

Au Pairs are paid far less (4k to the agency to hold onto for contract completion...) and then apx $125 a week for 32 hours per week... but the family is also providing room and board.

I am in Ohio, but just spoke with a Nanny today - she wants $17-$20 per hour for 2 children (4 & 6) and the duties you described.
