OPI and Essie are my top 2.
Happy Friday!!!
Does anyone have a nail polish brand that they love? One that lasts a long time and helps to keep nails strong? There are so many new options out there that it is really confusing.
Thanks!

OPI and Essie are my top 2.
I use Nail Magic as a nail strengthener. Walgreens used to carry it in their stores but now it's only available in the online store. I have been able to find it at Sally Beauty Supply, it is usually around $8 a bottle.
I use the Sinful Colors, $1.99 a bottle at Walgreens and Wal-Mart for color nail polish.
The trick to getting long lasting nail polish is doing a complete manicure once a week. I remove old polish, I only buy Pretty Nails non-acetone remover, then use cuticle remover and an orange stick to shape my cuticles, then wash hands and under nails with a brush. Then goes a coat of Nail Magic, (let dry) a thin coat of color, (let dry) another coat or two of color, two coats of clear polish and Nail Magic on top. You have to let each coat of polish dry completely. If the color chips during the week do a touch up on the chips and top with clear polish
Be sure you wear rubber gloves whenever you need to put your hands in water. Lastly, never use your nails as tools.
I learned to do my nails this way over 30 yrs ago. I was a hand model at that time and had to keep my hands pristine all the times because I never knew when a modeling job would come my way.
I love the Butter brand. You can find it at Ulta stores. It's pricey, but worth it. Essie is good too and Target carries it...I used to love OPI, but lately it seems like their new formulas don't last as long.
I like Sally Hansen, but for my DD I also like Zoya (fewer toxins).
I only use OPI. It lasts far longer than any other brand I've tried.
