If she's lost a considerable amount of weight in a short period of time, without dieting or exercise related, yes I would take her in for a check up.

Take her where? To a restaurant? Dr?
How much weight has she lost so quickly, was she overweight to begin with, how old is she, are you just now noticing the weight loss, can she be aneroxic????????
GO to the Dr and get some answers. We can't read your mind, see or diagnose her online. Gees....
Yes, time for a check up.
Please take her to the doctor. Maybe she just grew two inches and burned all those calories in a few weeks. Maybe she is anorexic, Type I diabetic, maybe she has cancer or an autoimmune disorder like Lupus or a thyroid condition or about a million other things. Rapid weight loss is a red flag, go see a professional ASAP.
Anyone who isn't doing anything differently and suddenly loses an amount of weight where it's noticeable then it's too quickly. I'd find out if there is anything health wise that she's not telling you then consider a mental health issue but I'd still take her to the doc as soon as possible.
Not much info here at all - what is a "a rapid amount"? And how much do you know? Are you observing a change in appearance or monitoring her weight on a scale? But as always, when there's a matter of concern, take her to the doctor. And do verify that there's nothing going on beyond your eyesight. Sometimes teens hide things from parents - sad, but true.
yes take her to a dr to find out whats going on with her.
A doctor or a psychiatrist needs to examine her
