My Baby Boy Says His Weiner Hurts

Okay mamas what do you think this could be?
I've been with my baby (2 1/2 yr old toddler) all day.
The only time he was out of my sight was for about 15 mins while we were all outside this evening.
I was in backyard while rest of family was in garage.
They said nothing happened like him falling on his private parts or anything.
He came in saying his weiner hurt.
When I changed his diaper right before we all went outside, he had a soupy poop.
Do you think it could be sickness? Not sure what else it could be? TIA
He was acting fine all day.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Okay thanks mamas. I was worried. I took him to the pediatrician this morning and he rulled out antyhing serious.
He thinks it's penile erection (when it becomes erect it pushes down on the bladder, he's noticing it now and it's an uncomfortable sensation.
Phew. I feel so much better now.
@JessicaWessica-I used the term "weiner" because that's what my son said and honestly I was a nervous wreck when I wrote that post so worried for my son. Glad it turned out to be nothing.

I swear that they're born obsessed with that thing! If it looks ok it's probably ok. Our cure all around here is a shower-- we have one of those shower heads on a hose and I SWEAR he could spend all day with the shower head in one hand and Mr Winky in the other....

Well a soupy poop could have caused him a little irritation.
And the soupy poop could just be food not agreeing w/ him.
Did he eat a lot of fruit today?
Fruit gives my boy crazy poops.
IDK...not trying to be funny...he is probably ok. My son is not old enough to talk but I can see he has times where it gets irritated.

Maybe a warm bath will help?

My 2 y/o does this too. I even went and got his weiner checked. The doc said there was a tiny irritation maybe from the diaper. But I really think they get erections sometimes and its painful. I dont know, he always complains about his weiner. If he wasnt yanking on it all the time maybe it wouldnt hurt! Boys!

Diarrhea can definitely irritate the skin. (Doesn't it irritate your skin when you get it?) Just make sure he's really clean down there. If it doesn't seem better in a couple of days give his ped a call to see if it's something more like a UTI.

probably from the soupy poop. but the other thing would be according to my so would be a uti. I bet he is trying to get a yeast infection or a diaper rash.

My son had a stomach bug he's fully potty trained and didn't have any accidents while he was sick and he complained his hurt. I think it is just really irritating to that sensitive skin. He did end up with a nasty yeast rash following the illness. Maybe your son is getting one. Keep an eye on it for any signs of a yeast rash and any signs of a possible uti.
