I live on the NW side of GR and my 3 yr. old daughter goes to The Dance Network on 4 Mile near Alpine. The classes are once a week and it's a combination of tap, ballet and some tumbling for $40 a month.
I have a 4 yr. old daughter that would love to take ballet classes. She is not very coordinated but she REALLY wants to do it. I am just wondering where I should take her? I don't want to have to go very far away and I would also like something that isn't too expensive. Any ideas? Thank you.

Check with your city to see if they offer any parks and rec classes. I live in Grand Rapids and they have parks and rec classes going on all the time. Ballet is one that they offer.
My four year old daughter takes a ballet and tap class at Rapid City Dance Factory on Monroe near downtown Grand Rapids. She loves it. It is an hour class each week. I pay $42 a month.
Hi,
I live in East Grand Rapids and my duaghter has taken lesson since she was 3 or 4 (she is now 8). We have used the Moving Company in East and now go to C.A.R.E. on 29th (near Breton). At the young ages I don't think it matters where you go - just get her into a class and see how she likes it. Have you looked in the phone book? Also, KICKS is a store downtown that supplies dance shoes and dancewear to all the studios. It is a small place on Fulton, near Cottage Bar. I bet the owner could tell you a little about the studios you are considering.
