Please do not go to Monarch if you can avoid it. I'm a hygienist in Rowlett and we constantly see patients who've been to Monarch and have had horrible experiences. They have a really high turnover rate so it is likely that you won't see the same dentist twice. And, if you go there and change dentists later they will not send x-rays or records to your new dentist. I would really try hard to find somewhere else to go and only use Monarch as a last resort.

Hi K.,

Me & my fiancee' used Monarch Dental before & it was the worst experience ever for the both of us. I'm not sure about anybody else, but we didn't like them at all. He went for a filling & they ended up extracting his tooth. So you may want to find another dentist!

I've been going to a Monarch Dental in Plano for the past few years. The hygenists are very nice - they remembered me from the other visits and made sure to make my visit personable. I even had to bring my daughter in her stoller for one cleaning and they didn't mind that at all. The dentist himself doesn't spend a whole lot of time with me, but I guess that's a good thing that I don't have any dental issues. He fixed a chipped tooth, and when it chipped again, he fixed it at no charge. I didn't even ask about charging, it was at their own decision.
I had one billing issue with them during my last visit, but that was because my insurance had changed without me knowing. I gave them the right info, and they still sent a collection letter, but, that's their billing department and it seems medical billing departments are always harder to deal with.

K.,
I have an appointment for my son with the Rockwall Monarch next Tuesday. They were the only dentist in Rockwall who is on my insurance plan so I thought I'd try them. I'll try to remember to let you know how it goes. If you think about it, send me an email Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday and remind me.
