Hi
My daughter has gone to Apple of His Eye Mothers day out for the last 2 years it is wonderful. It's tues and thurs 9-2. It is off of Western Center at Fossil creek community church. The number is ###-###-####.
Hi, I'm new to Texas... a California transplant. I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl and I would love to find a good EDUCATIONAL program to put her in twice a week or so in or near the Keller area. Unfortunately, when I first got here from CA, I didn't know about registration for any programs, and most of them near me are already full.
I am currently pregnant with twins and there are going to be some complications coming my way (possibly hospital bed rest for 3 months), so I'm trying to find a program to put my daughter in before my mom and mother-in-law arrive to help me out while I'm on bed rest so that she is learning and also providing a break for myself and anyone who comes out to help me.
If anyone knows of a mom's day out program that is NOT just a daycare, please let me know. I live in the Keller area near the intersection of 1709 and 377.
Thanks!

Look into your local Petite Academy...they can do 1/2 day as well as 2 days a week...they do have some structure to start
the learning process. good security too...have to have a code to get into where the children are.
We have had wonderful success with New Hope Christian School. It is a lutheran preschool with kids age 18 months to kindergarten age. I started my (now 4 year old) in the school when he wsa 2 1/2. The teachers are great and my son asks to goto school on the weekends. He started with two days, went to three and is now there 5 days a week. They also have drop in and hourly care if needed.
They are on Willis between North Tarrant and Bursey, between 377 and Rufe Snow.
Check them out! They are great!
e-mail me off list and I'll e-mail you a list I prepared for the Grapevine Colleyville Southlake MOm's league. It's quite extensive (daycares, preschools and MDO programs).... I'll be happy to share it with you.

They aren't in session during the summer time, but you may still be able to get a spot now, & certainly one for fall, at Discovery School at Smithfield UMC. It is at the intersection of Chapman & Smithfield Road in N Richland Hills. They have a wonderful High-Scope curriculum. We have been there a total of 6 years now. My oldest went 3 years; my youngest will be there 5, including Kindergarten. They have 2 & 3 day programs, the 3 day running $225/ mo. You can also look them up on the web & contact Janet or Elaine. Elaine is the director & founder; she's been there 20+ years. By the way, we're in Keller, too, but I have friends in Ft. Worth that drive 30 minutes to keep their kids there.
Good Luck!

I can't think of any mom's day out programs except for occassionally church's in the area do things like that. As for educational programs, I don't know what your money budget is like but I work for Primrose School of Bedford which is a private school and I know they have one in Southlake, I think that's the closest one to Keller other than mine but you can go to the website and look. We have a pretty good educational program. My son is going to be three in january and he has been going there since he was 15 months and he has learned a lot more there than i think i ever would have been able to teach him at home. Just food for thought for something to look into.
