Does anyone have any good suggestions of how/where to find a nanny/childcare person that could come to my home 2-3 days a week so that I can go back to work part time. I'm a new mom and not sure where/how to begin this process. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, M.
My former nanny is available! Feel free to email me and I can provide further information. She was my nanny for my 2 kids until they went to school and most recently for my friends' daughter, until she had her second two weeks ago. She lives in Frankfort and is awesome!
I am currently using care.com to look for a new nanny and so far have had great results. I got a ton of responese from what seem to be well qualified nannies. I had one interview yesterday that was great and have two more scheduled. You can view the profiles and post and ad for free but you need to pay a fee if you want to contact any of the sitters.
Have you tried sittercity? I have used it for a babysitter in the summer and now that I am not working I used it to find a tutor..It has a yearly fee,not to much, and you can chose out of tons of sitters/nannies in your area.You can do backround checks on sitters u may like after the interview and get referals from other families they may have sat for. I think it is a wonderful website..Hope this helps!
