Try this link http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/mch/depression.shtm - it goes to the Texas Department of State Health - Maternal and Child Health Page. It looks like there is a lot of good starting points to get some help.

Also, you should contact your Dr. or midwife that you delivered your baby with ... they should be able to point you in the right direction on how to get help with the PPD.

Last but not least, if you delivered in a hospital you should have gotten a paper that lists how to get help with PPD - you also probably had to sign saying they gave it to you (it is state law now to give women info. on how to get PPD help)

I had a horrible case of PPD and know how miserable it can be. Sometimes just hearing "it will get better" is not enough. Please persue help ... I know there are lots of people out there who can and will help. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions ... I know what its like to go through it!

Do you have health insurance? Because that would be your best bet. BUt if not you can google it. Maybe you can conmtact one of the local universities, sometimes they offer counceling for free or cheap because their students in that feild need the practice time. You can even ask your doctor. I hope this helps you. You will get through it, I suffered from Post pardum really bad and I got through it. You can write back if you need anything.
