things are going along pretty well with our wedding planning.. We have picked out a veil and dress.. now we are looking at accessories for my daughter to wear in her hair.. we loved the crystal, diamond heads/combs at wedding belles but it was over $160.00... does anyone know of a place to shop for unique hair jewelery that is also reasonably priced? I'm reluctant to shop for these items over the internet.. I just can't seem to judge the quality of them.. if you know of a particular website or shop.. or someone who creates hair jewelery that you would highly recommend, I would appreciate it..

Since you tried Wedding Belles I am assuming you are in or near the Barrington area. Have you tried Francesca's in Deer Park Town Center next to the Aveda Salon? They have tons of unique jewelery. I am almost positive the have hair jewelery as well. It might be worth a try!
Hi Pam - it's me again! Just saw your post and thought I would mention where I got my hair jewelry for my wedding. I actually got a pearl and swarovski crystal headband, but ended up not using it because I couldn't find a hairstyle for it. And so I ended up going to the mall (Hawthorne in Vernon Hills) and went to the booth that sells crystal items (earrings, tiaras, hair clips, etc.) I found a beautiful tiara -like hair piece (it was small and perfect yet very sparkly because my dress had lots of details on it) and it was like 30$. I also bought 3 hair pins that are so pretty with pearls and crystals that I love. You can try everything on there and they will even give you ideas on how to wear your hair with the pieces. I highly recommend trying there before ordering off the internet! Their things are really pretty and they have some pretty unique pieces.

Try sam moon trading co., I've used them in the past and everything I have recieved from them has really been good (for being inexpensive). I have not ordered throught them online though (they have a store out of Dallas, TX I have recieved things from) so I'm not sure of their shipping charges, but they are online, so I would check them out: www.sammoon.com.
