I would truly appreciate it if you could refer to me a qualified midwife who works in a hospital. I am 2 months pregnant and would be giving birth in a hospital. I would like to employ one because I love the support and service that a midwife provides.

The practice I go to, Ob-Gyn of Atlanta has midwives on staff, and that's how I did both of my deliveries. The doctors in the practice can be secondary to your pregnancy if you want to go midwife all the way. It's a big practice, but they're good at what they do. www.obgynofatlanta.com

Midwives at Wellstar across from Kennestone Hospital were good to me. Midwives at OBGYN of Atlanta and Northside Hospital almost forced an unnecessary cesarean and many pain drugs onto me -- had I not been forceful, they would have "proceeded."

Good luck -- I know the uphill battle you fight to avoid medical "procedures" and it's a wonderful view at the top!
