I've been breastfeeding for 5 months now and my 1st menstrual cycle arrived on December 28th (since becoming pregnant) and it's been now 37 days and I have not started my next cycle. Is it normal for my cycle to be irregular the fist few months?
Very much so! Everyone is different. Unless pregnant - what you are experiencing, some refer to as a peek a boo period.
I got my period back with my second around 6 mos or 9, I can't remember now! LOL! and my first around 18mos. Both while breastfeeding.

Totally normal - when mine came back at 7 mos, it came every other month for the next few months.

My first cycle was 38 days apart and my second one was 24 days later. I am still waiting on my third and it has been 24 days so far. So, yes. Your cycle is normal.
My came back six months after the birth, and it's been really regular, but I was really regular before I got pregnant too. I guess it depends on how regular you were before your pregnancy. With this being your first period, I wouldn't be too worried unless you think you might need to take a pregnancy test.
Yes very normal. In 14 months after baby I only had my period about 3-4 times. And when it seemed it was beginning to normalize, I got pregnant again.

Yes, very normal for your cycle to be irregular while breastfeeding. However, if your cycle has returned so has your fertility. If you don't want to get pregnant, make sure you are using some form of birth control.
