I have all of my year books going back to elementary school, and I do pull them out to look at them from time to time. I wouldn't get rid of them.
Did you keep your high school yearbooks? I'm about to move into a much smaller house and sorting through my many bins of mementos. Having kind of a hard time purging.
Wow, I'm so glad I asked!! I like the idea of putting them out with our books rather than keep them packed up in bins. Thanks everybody!!

We do have ours. Yes, they are located in the library area of our house along with other books we want to keep.
I purge like crazy but yearbooks are something I'd never get rid of!
I would keep that but get rid of other things.
ALL of our year books are with our normal books. Just like our wedding album...
I wouldn't put them in a bin.
Purging is hard stuff!! Especially when you go through a box and see something that you really haven't used or touched in months...and the memories that the item illicits, makes it very hard to let go.
If you haven't touched it, used it or referred to it in 6 to 9 months and it's not a holiday ornament? Purge...take a picture of the item(s) and you will get the same memories!
Yes.
I keep mine, my husbands and now our son has his.
Yes, I kept my high school yearbooks and I have some from junior high and elementary school. Makes it fun to look back for reunions and to share with my kids when they were graduating. The elementary school ones were so much fun as we looked back at our 50th reunion of 2nd grade at my 40th high school reunion. Also, since FB, it makes it fun to go back and see old pictures too. Now I still have my kids yearbooks too--I need to talk them into taking them home with them to free up my storage space.
I have mine, plus jr high too. I enjoy looking back at them occasionally. Especially when someone friends me on FB, I can share their pictures on their timeline.
